I have at least 4 time of this golden syrup I use occasionally – as a sweetener for a various types of treats and pure in case of sore throats or cough.
I combine honey with lemon and ginger to add some extra power to it and it taste hilarious if taken on a spoon as a dessert after any meal.

Honey have an antibacterial properties. With its natural hydrogen peroxide can kill common harmful bacteria such as E. coli and Staphylococcus. Moreover it’s an effective cough suppressant!
